Senior Data Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior data manager to lead on the implementation and maintenance of effective data management processes across a wide range of activities at ICNARC and to provide leadership to other data managers within the organisation.

Working primarily in the ICNARC Clinical Trials Unit, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading the governance, data curation and management, for ICNARC’s activities as the Data Coordination Centre for global adaptive platform trial REMAP-CAP. The Senior Data Manager will also oversee the data management activities for the broad portfolio of ICNARC-led research studies including the development of relevant policies, standard operating procedures, dataset specifications, dataset flows, case report forms and data management plans. You will also lead in the development of data collection/validation systems and ensure that data meet the standards of quality expected for reporting both internally and to regulatory bodies and trial committees in accordance with the relevant legislation.

In addition to supporting data management across ICNARC’s National Audit Programme, including input into updates to data specifications, the Senior Data Manager will also be central in the specification of a new data warehouse, which will house anonymised research study and audit datasets for external access.
